“The Concept-Therapy Institute (CTI) Privacy Policy

Your Information
In communicating with the CTI, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include information that can directly or indirectly be used to personally identify you, including, but not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address, course history and enrollment details, date and place of birth, photograph, dates of attendance, CTI honors and awards received, participation in CTI sponsored activities and events, or other information. We collect this information for the purpose of identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, and otherwise improving our services. This information may be released without your consent. Other examples of how we collect information you provide to us include:

• In the course of verifying credentials for upper level courses and/or continuing education units (CEUs).
• Through hosting JAM sessions, informative lectures, and other public or by-invitation events and having participants register and submit personal information in the course of their participation.
• As we receive and respond to email and other digital communications.
• Engaging in our social media or message boards
• Making a donation or payment
• Joining our professional directory
• Updating or providing us with your details and personal information
• Submitting information using web forms

This is not an exhaustive list of how we collect data that you provide to us. Please be advised that as an educational organization that provides information regarding health and wellness, we collect and process your data in ways germane to our standard business process for providing education and health and wellness information.

The CTI will honor all requests to withhold any of the categories of personally identifiable information listed in a written request but will not assume any responsibility to contact you for subsequent permission to release that information. Nondisclosure will be enforced until you subsequently authorize its release. You may not, however, opt-out of the disclosure of your name or email address in a class/activity/event/club/meeting in which you are enrolled/registered. Regardless of the effect on you, the CTI assumes no liability for honoring your request to restrict the disclosure of personally identifiable information.

The relationship our students have with each other and their teachers is lifelong. The CTI aims to provide support as well as communicate important information and opportunities on a regular basis in order to keep you informed and engaged with what is happening at the CTI.


Email Marketing
By providing us with your personal or business email address, we may contact you for marketing purposes by email. By subscribing to CTI emails or opting into email communication from CTI, you grant us the right to use the email for both email marketing purposes and advertisement targeting.

Telephone/Text Marketing
If you have provided us with your mobile, home, or business telephone number, we may telephone you about our work unless you have told us that you would prefer not to receive such information.

Postal Marketing
We may send you direct mail about our work unless you have told us that you would prefer not to receive such information. Where possible, we encourage the option of electronic communications to reduce the cost and environmental impact of postal mail.

E-Commerce
Several areas of our website feature web forms for the purpose of facilitating financial transactions. It is the CTI’s policy that information you input in these forms is used only for the purposes described in that transaction unless an additional use is specifically stated otherwise.

Public Forums
The CTI may offer bulletin boards, message boards, virtual meeting spaces and discussion boards, or similar public forums where you and other users of the CTI website can communicate. The protections described in this Privacy Policy do not apply when you provide information (including personal information) in connection with your use of these public forums. We may use personally identifiable information about you to identify you with a posting in a public forum. Any information you share in a public forum is public information and may be seen or collected by anyone, including third parties that do not adhere to our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for events arising from the distribution of any information you choose to publicly post or share.

Compliance with Laws
You can opt out of receiving future emails and electronic communications by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us [by clicking this link here]. We may disclose personally identifiable information as required by law and/or in response to service of legal process, such as a court order, summons, subpoena, and the like if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of the CTI. We do not share, sell, rent, swap, or authorize any third party to use your personally identifiable information without your permission.

How You Accept this Policy
By accessing the CTI’s websites, emails, or software systems, or by otherwise providing us with personally identifiable information.

Security
The security of your personally identifiable information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store in order to protect it from unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, ensure appropriate use of information, modification, destruction, or disclosure. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the personally identifiable information we have collected from you.
